Board Members

Meet the 2025-2026 Tri-Lakes Board of Directors

We’re a team of passionate, dedicated volunteers committed to making Tri-Lakes Little League a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every player and family. Our mission is to support youth development through baseball and softball—on and off the field.


    President: Chuck Menke

    Chuck brings more than 30 years of experience as a sports executive within the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Movement, NCAA Division I Athletics, and the National Hockey League. He has volunteered as a head coach with Tri-Lakes Little League for seven years, coaching from T-Ball through Minors and leading teams to multiple league championships and all-star appearances.


    VP of Baseball Operations: Bruce Desautels 

    Bruce serves as the Tri-Lakes Little League Vice President of Baseball Operations and is dedicated to giving back to the community through the sport he loves. A retired Air Force A-10 fighter pilot, Contract Senior Director, and government Senior Executive, Bruce brings over 25 years of coaching and umpiring experience across Little League, Babe Ruth, and Travel Ball. He specializes in helping players transition to the 90-foot field and prepare for high school and competitive play.


    VP of Softball Operations: Megan Wheatley

    Megan is entering her fifth year coaching and second year as Vice President of Softball for Tri-Lakes Little League. She grew up playing Little League in Alaska and competed in multiple regional tournaments at the minors and majors All-Star levels - an experience that helped spark her lifelong love for the game. Megan is passionate about giving back to the sport and helping develop the next generation of softball players, including her three young daughters. She also has deep roots in the Colorado Springs community, where she played collegiate softball at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.


    Secretary: Heidi Roche

    Heidi is a lawyer with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, where she works to ensure national governing bodies meet key requirements and demonstrate strong governance practices. With more than 13 years of legal and sports industry experience, including eight years overseeing NCAA compliance at Stanford University, Heidi has a long-standing passion for supporting athletes. She is excited to continue that work through Tri-Lakes Little League. Heidi and her husband have three children, two of whom will take the field this spring.


    Treasurer: Kristen Lockhart

    Kristen was inspired to join the Tri-Lakes Little League Board after seeing what a special community it is when both of her sons played in the league last year. She has also coached her son’s soccer team and loves supporting youth sports. Kristen and her husband, who recently retired from the military, moved to Monument about a year and a half ago and have quickly fallen in love with the area. She serves as the Senior Accountant for the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, where she enjoys contributing to an organization that supports the arts in the community.


    Safety Coordinator: Steve Butler

    Steve is a proud parent of two sons who play at Tri-Lakes Little League and is deeply committed to the league’s continued growth. Being part of TLLL has been an incredible experience for his family, and he’s excited to help guide the organization into its next chapter. Professionally, Steve works at USAA, where service and community are central values. He’s honored to support the players, families, and volunteers who make this league so special.


    Player Agent, Registrar & Information Officer: Kelsey Lenzmeier

    Kelsey grew up playing Little League baseball and softball and now loves cheering on her two boys, who have played since T-ball. She and her husband own two local businesses and stay active in the community. As a brand and website designer, Kelsey brings creativity and passion to everything she does, especially her love for youth baseball and the life lessons it teaches both on and off the field.


    Coaching Coordinator: Jesse Leiker

    Jesse serves on the Tri-Lakes Little League Board of Directors as the Coaching Coordinator. He and his wife have two daughters and a son who share his love for the game. Jesse has several years of coaching experience with Tri-Lakes and High Plains and currently coaches the TCA Junior High Fastpitch softball team. Passionate about baseball and softball in all their forms, he’s dedicated to fostering a strong culture of excellence and growth within the league.


    Equipment & Fields Coordinator: Dustin Tupper

    Dustin is a longtime Monument resident and dedicated supporter of youth sports in the community. He and his wife are both teachers at Lewis-Palmer High School, and they have three children who are active in local athletics. Dustin has coached in Tri-Lakes Little League for about five seasons and loves helping young athletes learn, grow, and build confidence on the field. He is proud to serve and support the TLLL community.


    Scheduling, Marketing & Social Media Coordinator: Nicole Simmons

    Nicole is a local Realtor with over four years of experience serving families throughout the Tri-Lakes and Colorado Springs areas. She’s also a proud mom of three active athletes, and 2026 will mark her family’s sixth year with Tri-Lakes Little League. With deep ties to the community, Nicole values the growth, teamwork, and friendships Little League provides. She’s excited to serve on the Board and help ensure every player and family feels welcome, supported, and connected.


    Sponsorship & Fundraising Coordinator: Marc Walrath

    Marc is a proud Tri-Lakes Little League parent with two sons currently playing in the league. He has coached Tee Ball and served as an assistant baseball coach for several seasons. Professionally, Marc works in business-to-business sales and has successfully secured team sponsorships for TLLL through his employer. Passionate about community involvement and youth sports, he’s excited to contribute new ideas for fundraising and help strengthen the future of Tri-Lakes Little League.


    Uniform & Picture Day Coordinator: Megan Bies

    Megan recently relocated to the Monument area after her husband Chuck retired from the military.  My daughter loves playing softball and really enjoyed her time playing in Trilakes Little league.  Megan has previously coached soccer for Pride, track for Landsharks, soccer for CYS, and basketball at St Peters.  She enjoys giving back and is excited to get involved in the Monument community. Megan works as a Registered Dietitian for Cecelia Health.


    Uniform & Picture Day Coordinator: Chuck Bies

    Chuck serves as a Tri-Lakes Little League Uniform and Picture Day coordinator with his wife, Megan. Chuck has more than 20 years of experience in the Army where he commanded and led organizations ranging in size from 16 to 750 servicemembers. He currently works as a business strategy analyst with USAA.
