Step Up to the Plate: Become a Coach

Tri-Lakes Little League is actively seeking volunteer Managers and Coaches for the upcoming season! In Little League, what many think of as the “head coach” is called the Manager, and “assistant coaches” are called Coaches. Both roles are essential to creating a fun, safe, and positive baseball or softball experience for every player.

Managers and Coaches are expected to:

• Coordinate practices and coach games.
• Attend a mandatory coaches meeting/training.  (Level 1 Training for new coaches, Level 2 Training for experienced coaches.)
• Participate in player assessments for Minors through Juniors divisions (these teams form via draft, so getting to know players is important).
• Complete a league-required background check.
